KAN SHIN RYU KENDO
Australian Kendo Dojos is the only Dojo outside of Japan teaching the ‘Kan Shin Ryu’ style of Kendo. It is a style that incorporates a greater freedom of technique and is more closely related to the fighting style of the fuedal era Japanese swordsmen.
WASHI RYU IAIDO
Australian Kendo Dojos is the only Dojo outside of Japan teaching the ‘Washi Ryu’ style of Iaido.
While the international ‘Seitei’ style is also taught at AKD, Washi Ryu offers students a more pure, flowing style of Japanese swordsmaship.
